JAMB Opens Portal for Reprinting of Examination Slip for 2026 MOP-UP Exam: Steps, Requirements & Exam Date

JAMB 2026 MOP-UP candidates, your slip is ready!

Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board JAMB has officially opened the portal for reprinting of 2026 Mop-Up UTME examination slips. If you missed the main exam due to network issues, biometric problems, or other verified reasons and JAMB approved you for mop-up, this is for you.

Important: No slip, No entry into exam hall. JAMB officials will turn you back at the gate even if your name is on the mop-up list.

What to note
Who are expected to sit for the MOP-UP Exam?
Candidates approved for 2026 JAMB Mop-Up exam only

Fee: FREE. JAMB does not charge for slip reprinting but cyber cafè operators may charge for the service rendered
What’s on slip?: Exam date, time, center, venue address, seat number, passport

Exam Mode: CBT only. Same as main UTME

Note: Mop-up is NOT for everyone. Only candidates JAMB verified had issues during main exam will see their slip.

Who is Eligible for 2026 JAMB Mop-Up Exam?
You can only reprint if:

  1. You registered for 2026 UTME but couldn’t write due to JAMB verified issues: biometric failure, center network crash, missing name, system error
  2. JAMB sent you SMS/email confirming mop-up eligibility OR your name appeared on JAMB mop-up list
  3. Your profile shows “Mop-Up Approved” when you check on JAMB portal
If You just “missed exam” without JAMB’s approval: You won’t see any slip. Mop-up is not a second chance for absentees.

How to Reprint 2026 JAMB Mop-Up Examination Slip - Step by Step
  1. Go to jamb reprint portal portal at https://slipsprinting.jamb.gov.ng/mopup-examination
  2. Login: Enter your JAMB Registration Number, phone number used to generate Profile code OR Email used during registration
  3. Click “Print Examination Slip”: If you’re approved for mop-up, your exam details will show

Check details carefully:
   - Exam date + time: JAMB mop-up is usually 7am or 2pm batches
   - Center name + address: Arrive 1 hour early. Some centers are far
   - Seat number + passport: Must match the person writing the exam

Can’t see your slip and you receive a message for MOP UP? Try again after 24 hours. If still nothing after 3 days, visit nearest JAMB office with your registration slip.

2026 JAMB Mop-Up Exam Date
JAMB has fixed June 13th, 2026 for the 2026 UTME MOP UP Exam:

What to take to the exam center
The Printed examination slip for the MOP UP exam and Original 2026 JAMB registration slip - As backup ID

Face mask if required by your center
No phone, no smartwatch, no bag into the exam hall.

- Arrive 1 hour early - Biometric verification takes time

- Know your center location a day before the exam

Mistakes That Will Make JAMB Turn You Back

- Printing of old exam slip: Main exam slip is invalid. Must print fresh mop-up slip.

- Wrong center: If your slip says “Government College Lagos” but you go to “Yaba Tech”, you won’t write.

- Late arrival: Gate closes 30 mins after exam starts. No late entry for mop-up.

- Different passport: If your current look doesn’t match slip passport, biometric will fail.

- Trying to “buy form”: Mop-up has no form to buy. If someone asks you for money, it’s fraud.

After Mop-Up Exam: What Next?
1. JAMB releases mop-up results within 48 hours on `result.jamb.gov.ng`

2. Admission: CAPS will be activated and updated for the 2026 Admission to kickstart.

3. No second mop-up: This is the final chance for 2026. If you miss this, wait for 2027

Final Advice for 2026 MOP-UP Candidates
1. Reprint your slip NOW: Don’t wait till exam eve. Portal gets slow and some centers run out of printing paper.
2. Visit your center before exam day: If your center is in another town, locate it 1 day before to avoid “I got lost” stories.
3. Read JAMB instructions: Your slip has exam rules at the bottom. Read them.
