Lagos State University, LASU, has officially activated the payment portal for Acceptance and Medical Fees for newly admitted full-time undergraduate UTME candidates for the 2026/2027 academic session.

This announcement was made on the university’s official admission screening portal, and it marks the beginning of the clearance and registration process for the new set of LASU students.

Who Is Eligible To Pay?

According to the management, only candidates whose admission status has been updated on the LASU admission screening portal are eligible to make the payments at this time.

The university noted that admissions are being released in batches. Therefore, candidates who have not yet seen an update on their admission status are advised to remain patient and keep checking the portal regularly. 

Once your status changes to "Admitted", you can then proceed with the payment of Acceptance and Medical fees.

What You Need To Pay

1. Acceptance Fee: This fee confirms your admission offer and secures your place in the university. Failure to pay within the stipulated timeframe may lead to forfeiture of the admission.

2. Medical Fee: This covers your medical screening and registration at the LASU Health Centre, which is part of the clearance process for all new students.

Both payments are to be made online through the LASU admission portal.

Steps To Make Payment on LASU Portal

1. Visit the LASU admission screening portal

2. Log in with your JAMB Registration Number and password

3. Check your admission status. If admitted, the payment link for Acceptance and Medical Fees will be available

4. Generate your payment invoice and proceed to pay online using ATM card or bank payment options

5. After successful payment, print out your payment receipts. You will need them during physical screening and registration

Important Notice To All Newly Admitted Candidates

LASU management is encouraging all successfully admitted candidates to complete the required payments and other admission procedures within the stipulated timeframe that will be communicated on the portal.

Paying early helps you avoid portal congestion and gives you enough time to proceed with other steps such as:

1.  Course registration

2.  Faculty and departmental screening

3.  Medical examination

4.  Hostel application, if interested

Candidates are also warned to avoid making payments through third parties or fake websites. All payments must be done only through the official LASU portal to avoid fraud.
