The management of Tai Solarin Federal University of Education, TASFUED, has officially commenced the uploading of the 2026/2027 Merit Admission List on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System, CAPS.

This announcement brings good news to thousands of candidates who chose TASFUED as their first choice institution during the 2026 JAMB UTME and Post-UTME registration.

If you applied to TASFUED, you can now begin checking your admission status, as the university has started releasing admission offers to successful candidates.

TASFUED 2026/2027 Merit Admission List is Out on JAMB CAPS

Tai Solarin Federal University of Education, located in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, is one of Nigeria’s leading federal universities of education. Every year, the institution attracts thousands of applicants seeking admission into degree programs in education, arts, sciences, and social sciences. For the 2026/2027 academic session, the school management has confirmed that the merit admission list is being processed and uploaded on JAMB CAPS in batches. This means not all candidates will see their admission status at the same time.

The merit list contains candidates who met the required cut-off mark, departmental requirements, and performed well in the Post-UTME screening exercise.

Candidates are advised to visit the JAMB CAPS portal regularly to check if their status has changed to "Admitted."

Admission is Being Released in Batches

It is important to note that TASFUED will not release all admissions at once. The university management explained that the admission exercise will be done in phases to ensure proper verification of results and compliance with JAMB guidelines.

What this means for applicants:

1. If your status currently says "Admission in Progress" or "Not Admitted Yet," do not panic. More names are still being uploaded.

2. Keep checking JAMB CAPS at least 2 to 3 times every week.

3. Ensure your O’level results are uploaded on JAMB CAPS. Candidates without uploaded O’level results may not be considered even if they qualify.

The batch system also helps the school to manage the admission quota for each department and ensure that only qualified candidates are admitted.
