Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE) activates supplementary Post-UTME portal for 2026/2027 Academic session

The Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE), Delta State, has officially opened its supplementary Post-UTME registration portal for the 2026/2027 academic session. FUPRE is the 1st petroleum university in Africa and 6th in the world.


This is aimed at enabling students who missed the initial post utme exercise conducted between July 21 - July 25, 2026 or wish to change their choice of institution to Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun.

- Application Closes: Sunday, August 23 2026.
- Screening Fee: ₦2,000 only
- Supplementary Screening Exercise: Monday, August 24th and Tuesday, August 25th 2026.
- Application Portal: https://utme.fupre.edu.ng

Eligibility Requirements - UTME Candidates
To qualify for the screening exercise, you must:
1. Score a minimum of 160 in the 2026 UTME
2. Choose FUPRE as your first choice. If you didn’t, you must do a Change of Institution on the JAMB portal before applying
3. Possess at least five (5) O’Level credit passes including English Language and Mathematics in not more than 2 sittings. Accepted: WAEC, NECO, GCE, NABTEB
4. Be at least 16 years old by 30th September 2026.

Candidates with higher UTME scores may have stronger chances due to competition.

Direct Entry Requirements
FUPRE accepts recognized Certificates, Diplomas, and Degrees quality-assured by NUC, NBTE, or NCCE.

Important: Direct Entry is NOT available for these 7 courses:
- Logistics & Supply Chain Management
- Petroleum Information Management
- Entrepreneurship
- Procurement Management
- Microbiology
- Biochemistry
- Petroleum Chemistry

How to Apply
2. Pay the non-refundable ₦2,000 screening fee
3. Fill the form with your JAMB details, O'Level results, and personal info
4. Print your Acknowledgement Slip - This is very important and must be taken to the screening exam hall. Without it you won’t be allowed in

Candidates are advised to register early to avoid last-minute portal traffic.
