KASU Re-opens Post-UTME Application Portal for 2026/2027: Final Chance for Candidates from July 22 to July 29, 2026

By admin     3 months ago

The Management of Kaduna State University (KASU) has announced the re-opening of its Online Post-UTME Screening portal for the 2026/2027 academic session. This decision was made to accommodate eligible candidates who were unable to complete the Post-UTME screening during the initial period. According to the official update, the portal re-opens with effect from Wednesday, 22nd July 2026 and will close permanently on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. The university stated that this is the final opportunity and there will be no further extension due to admission technicalities.

1. Why KASU Re-opened the Post-UTME Portal

The university explained that several candidates complained of network issues, payment challenges, and late change of institution to KASU during the first window. To ensure no eligible candidate is denied a chance, management approved a 7-day grace period.

After 29th July 2026, the portal will be shut down and admission processing for 2026/2027 will commence. Candidates who fail to register within this window will not be considered for admission.

2. Who Is Eligible to Apply During This Re-opening

3. Candidates who started registration earlier but did not complete payment or document upload.

Final Advice

This re-opening is a lifeline for candidates who missed the first Post-UTME window. You have only 7 days from 22nd to 29th July 2026. Do not procrastinate.

KASU is one of the fastest-growing state universities in Northern Nigeria with NUC accreditation for all programmes. Admission is merit-based, so ensure your documents are correct.

If your UTME score is between 170-199, consider less competitive courses like Sociology, History, Education courses, or Agriculture to increase your chances.
