Application Timeline

Application opens: 1st July, 2026.

Application Deadline: 31st August, 2026

How FUHSI Calculates Aggregate Score

If screening is online, FUHSI typically uses:

UTME Score divided by 8 plus O’Level points.

O’Level grading: A1 = 6, B2 = 5, B3 = 4, C4 = 3, C5 = 2, C6 = 1.

This may change, so use the official guideline on the portal.

Key Tips to Avoid Disqualification

1. Ensure your name is the same on all documents. Any difference in WAEC, JAMB, and birth certificate can cause issues.

2. Upload O’Level results to JAMB CAPS. FUHSI will not admit you if your result is not on CAPS.

3. Use a clear passport photo. Do not use selfies or edited pictures.

4. DE candidates should contact their previous school to send transcripts to FUHSI early.

What to Do After the Application

1. Check the portal and your email regularly for screening results and admission updates.

2. Monitor JAMB CAPS to accept your admission once offered.

3. Prepare for resumption by getting medical fitness reports and other clearance documents.

FUHSI is one of the fastest-growing health sciences universities in Nigeria. With modern facilities and a focus on medical training, admission is competitive. Completing your Post-UTME/DE form correctly and early gives you an advantage.
